MiniVoice has a long history in the cloud-based telecoms services market and has continuously evolved over the years, adapting to the market and customer needs. Ove Känngård, CEO of Pre Greeting AB, which owns MiniVoice, has been active in the industry since 1991. Even then, he worked and managed cloud-based solutions in telephony, fallback, and security. In other words, there is long experience within MiniVoice, something that, according to Ove, “beats many other players on the fingers”.
– We have had three generations of MiniVoice, the first customer-placed product was released in the last millennium, namely in 1998. With that solution, we quickly gained over 1000 active customers, where we were the first suppliers to Telia Centrex. In 2011, we then chose to make a major update, which went by the name MiniVoice Web. It included a web interface and more functions. But the big development came in 2016, when the version that is now active, MiniVoice Premium, was released, Ove explains.
Having developed and maintained a product for so many years is of course a great advantage, both from a service and security perspective. And as the technology and the market have changed, the product has been constantly updated and developed. Which makes MiniVoice one of the most secure products on the market today, when we talk about reliability.
– It has been incredibly fun to develop MiniVoice, but the development is never finished As users and society make new demands, we must listen and act. In 2019, we will release our new app, where the user will be able to manage the service directly on the phone, in addition to which some new functions will also be released, says Ove.
If you look into the future, we are moving more and more towards cloud-based solutions. The time when you sat on your own telephone exchanges and solutions is over, but you would rather hand over the responsibility to the major players, from the reliability aspect. At the same time as they want more customized and flexible solutions, says Ove.
– The main advantage of MiniVoice is that we have a combination of cloud service and mobile telephony. Thanks to this we get a flexible product, with great security and quality. This, together with our expertise and experience, makes us unique in the market. There are a handful of players who have similar experience, but none that have all the elements that we possess, mainly perhaps our function with professional voices, Ove concludes.
